Native Speakers Wanted!
We are looking for native English speakers who can read texts aloud in a clear and easily understandable voice. If English is your native language and you have a pleasant voice, this could well be an opportunity for you: Creating audio versions of our written materials. All you need is a microphone and an interest in reading stories, essays and articles aloud.
You will get paid $15 per 30 minutes of your recorded audio materials. On top of that you'll have the chance to get your own professional web page where you can offer any of your services (for example, teaching English, translating and localizing websites, interpreting, business coaching, etc.)
How to get started? That's quite simple. Record the following text as an MP3 file and send us your recording so we can review it:

Learning a foreign language -- by Alan Townend. Read by ....
Everyone says that the best way to learn a foreign language is to live and work in that country. But that's all very well if you can manage to do it. Most people can't. So what's the answer? One way is to listen to as much radio and watch as much television in the language as you possibly can. Ideally you can listen to the news on the radio first and then watch the same news on television.
Reading foreign newspapers, magazines and stories about what's happening in the world can help you increase your vocabulary. The chances are that you'll already know the topics in the news and you are therefore already prepared. But all these activities are a bit solitary. Remember that the purpose of learning a foreign language is to communicate with other people in different countries. Get to know someone who is a native speaker of the language you want to learn and talk to them.
Once you do that you'll be starting out on a lifelong process of communication with another part of the world."
