Dear Torsten
I am one of your students and have very kindest request for you that I want you to send me the online English course from lesson number 25 to my new g-mail address - vijinthans@gmail.com, my private address. I am currently using "trincomalee.fao@gmail.com" which is an official one, so I want to change the place where I'm receiving emails to.
Please acknowledge this message by replying to "trincomalee.fao@gmail.com"
Thanks in advance for your kind assistance.

Hello, everybody :o
As my opinion, for the sake of English certificate, I can follow a schedule to learn English. A proper schedule is a faster way but not always effective. However, if I think of English as my second language, I learn it at any time and everywhere. For exmple, I read the handbook or specification as I buy a product at the store. I browse the website, I also browse the English version. When I watch a movie, I listen to the conversation carefully to practice my listening comprehension and do not read the captions as soon as I can. As above methods, etc.

| I think this is a good method to learn English, learning one of the most important aspects of English: the listening, just spending 15+15 minutes at day listening audio, and maybe 15 minutes writing and other 15 minutes reading for learning grammar, and do all this about a unique theme for each day. |

You gave good advise i.e. listening BBC news daily for 30 minutes. Its really a 30-30 chanllegen. Pl give other ways to improve my speaking skill as well as writing skill. Now I start listening BBC rightly. I have learnt every thing but I can't remember every thing at the time of need. I have much vocabulary but can't know how to use it

Hi everyone,
Today, I am going to talk about a report that I have listened to at BBC learning English. I hope the people who have a fear of spiders can be interested in this report so they can give a little attention to the information I will say here. Although most of spiders are not harmless but there are some people who have arachaphopia (fear of spiders). The report said it is not difficult to get off this problem. The arachaphe people can get rid from their fears by going cold turkey (an expression to describe the action of stopping something suddenly and completely, for example smoking or drinking alcohol). It means that they should face their fears by face the spider instead of avoiding them. They also can take hypnosis which means a mental state like sleep in which a person's thought can be influenced by something else. That's for today.
Many thanks,
Meera |
