Hi Torsten,
I am really interested in your 30/30 Challenge program. I also would like to participate in that challenge. So I watch CNN news everyday. There are many program in CNN like that world report, political man, international desk and so on. Among them I choose to present you about international desk. As you know, these days famous news is Haiti earthquake. They presented about it for international desk. So I prepared to present you again about that. Although I roughly understand what they said. But there are some difficulty to present and I don't remember all the words. So please give me a time. At the moment, I am away from internet for two weeks. So if I am ready for that program, I will send message.
Best Regards,
maw.

For me it's a challenge to change my habits, specially cause I have a Schedule to watch my favorite shows on TV. But I swear you tomorrow at first hour I'm gonna change that and I will start listen more programmes in English. I got bored of my flat English and I want be more clever. I had lived many bad moments because of my accent, and I need to have a smooth pronuntiation. I dare you change your habits too, and please tell me forward if you do it or not.

Hi, Dear Torsten!

To watch films in English is an enjoyable rather than challenging thing for me. But sometimes it seems to me that I am banging my head against a brick wall.
The plot can be too intricated for following it or the actors starring there speak with accent, what causes mishearing and as consequance misunderstanding.
But it makes sence to have a go once more.
At first I watched animated cartoons with subtitles (such as "Ratatouille", "Cinderella"), later movies.
Some days ago I enjoyed exhilarating film "The bad lieutenant" with Nicolas Cage in the main part.
The main idia of this film (what I catched) is "the only criminal he can't catch is himself" or "inner demons".
The main character is a corrapt police lieutenant who is mixed up in swindles with cocaine and heroin.
I admired the perfect acting of Nicolas Cage and was captured by the plot.
So the point is you can learn English and enjoy it at the same time.

Best wishes,
Olga

Hello sir Torsten,
30/30 challenge is a great idea. I would like to participate in that challenge. Along with News if I would write about English movies and talk shows which I probably enjoy one hour dailty on TV channels, does it sound good.
Thank you,

Hello Sir Torsten,
Today, I have listened back/story given on CNN channel. In that they have told about the charity games played in US as well as in London in order to contribute for the earthquke's victims of Haitii. The Football famous players participate in that match in US, while in London they have arranged Golf game.
On BBC they have broad casted the short story of 'horse-racing' in Middle East. They told how they look after the high racial horses and they have also told about the horse shoes fitted on horses feet so horses can ran faster. To make horse shoe they mould the iron and fill that in rounded plastic container and fixed horse's foot in it than on cooling, its the 'U" shaped shoe fixed around horse foot. They file the edges of the shoes with the help of filer.
Sir Torsten, this is my first time I have listened news and really rather than movies, documentary and news are the best way to improve listening skills as I easily understand English dialogues in movies but I felt bit problem when I was listening news mean while I was doing other work also, so I forget the names they have told in the news. I will keep on practice unless I will remind the whole news and be able to write as it is. This is very interesting way of improving listening skills
Thank you
Regards
Ashi

Hello, sir Torsten.
Thanks for your guiding. I have never noticed it before. But from this now, I will make it to challenge myself although I think: it's so hard to become a daily routine, everybody has their own business.

Thank you
