Can you think of any adjective that would mean not connected with the market?

commercialization of non-market(?) matters/fields

Perhaps out-of-market?

Or perhaps I should simply say matters/fields that are not connected with the market?

Hi Twin

Can you give us the sentence(s) that this would appear in? (More context, please. Wink)

The only thing that pops into my head at the moment is:
.... (that are) unrelated to the market.

Hi Twin

What about something like this:

The more engaged you are in one market, the more you should beware of commercialization in unrelated markets.

The idea behind it is that when you are engaged in a market, you may forget about other matters e.g. family, friends, etc. You 'commercialize' your family, friends, your social life.

Have I punctuated commercialize correctly?
