Hi

La isla Bonita is a beautiful song by Madonna. I would like to know the meanings of the following lines and from which language they are!

1- He called to me , Te diso te amo
2- La isla Bonita

Thanks

Tom

Those lines are in Spanish, Tom:

'Te dijo: "te amo"' means: 'He told you: "I love you"'

'La isla bonita' means 'The beautiful island'.

La Isla Bonita or "The Beautiful Island" is one of favorites too. When she sings Te dijo te amo, she means "She said she loved you" or she said: I love you.

These words are in Spanish.

There's another line in there:

Te dijo que te amas.

Conchita can verify, but the translation of that is "He told you that he loves you."

It might also be "El dijo que te amas," which would mean "He said that he loves you."

'Amas' is for 't?': (yo) amo, (tu) am?s, (el/ella) ama.
