Hello, Here are my sentences about the simple present tense (the answer for your exercise): Everyday my pet, a Japanese dog, runs to the gate to welcome me. I usually come home from school at 6p.m. I often go by bus. Whenever I get on the bus, the driver says hello to me. He never drinks when working. He always drives very carefully. I know that, and everybody does, too. What do you think about them? |

Dear Torsten
I really like Present Simple and the way you explain it!
As you said, Simple Present is really simple : in Russian you have to change the verb you use six times, special form for each person, and it also differs from its initial form! It's so wonderful we can use the same form for all persons except for 3rd, singular. So, I play computer games in the evening. And you play...and we play... and they play.. I come home at 6 in the eveninig. And you come...and we come...and they come.. Is it difficult remember to add "s" at the end for he, she. it? He comes home and plays..
Thanks a lot. Best regards nataliru |

| I work in the home department. I like to become a writer but I lack the writing skill. My friend has a good writing skill but she hardly use it. I wish I have her skill so that I can write all the pressing issues that our world face today. I want you to judge my writing and tell me if I will ever become a writer. |

Hi Ina,
Since you have the TEFL qualification, could you tell us how it is rated and what you did in order to acquire it?
By the way, what exactly do you mean by "how can i use the previous sentence by using 'being'"?
Take care,

Unit 7 I do homework. I make some sentences in simple present. For example: Everyday I go to hospital to work. I drive motorbike to my office. I drink some coffee before I begin to examine my patient . I always get information on the internet if I have free time. I know I have to learn more so I improve my job. I come from VN but I want to immigrate to Canada. |

Dear Torsten
Here are few Present Simple sentences :
I work for a company in pulp&paper. I work from home - I use the Internet for my work. I practically don't go out.
My son studies at the Academy of Music, he plays the cello. He practices every day for three or four hours. He usualy practices at the Academy. He does't like practicing at home. He thinks our neighbours wouldn't like it. He only practises at home when he is on holiday. Our cat likes his music. Her name is Vanessa M. She usually sits in the armchair and listens to him.
Cheers!
