Hi Cooliegirly
Maybe a beehive or an ant colony? . _________________ "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." ~ Abraham Lincoln |

Hi cooliegirly,
How about hub? Or if it's a disorganised municipality - hubbub?

I don't know, Cooliegirly. I thought of insects because both sorts of "insect municipalities" exist right outside my house.
What about Alan's idea of a hub?
What about this forum as a sort of "online municipality"?
What about the internal computer network in a company?
Do any of those catch your fancy?

| When do we use full stops after abbreviations? | Which or not which (I saw my houses which had been...) |
