Hi all,

Same meaning or not?

I have been here for 2 weeks.
It is 2 weeks since I was here.

Thanks

Sorry,

I am mistaken. Please compare now between:

I have been here for 2 weeks.
It is 2 weeks since I have been here.

Are they the same meaning?

Thanks

No, Van.

I have been here for 2 weeks = I am here now and have been here for the last two weeks.

It is 2 weeks since I have been here = I was here two weeks ago, then I left, and now I have just come back.
