"Come easy" vs "Comes easily"

Could anyone please tell me the difference between the given expressions?

"Come easy" and "Comes easily"

1- Knowledge of cooking comes easy to him.
2- Knowledge of cooking comes easily to him.

3-Nothing comes----------- in life.(easy-easily)

I'd say "comes easy" just sounds more informal than "comes easily".

Have you googled them? "Comes easy" gets close to twice as many Google results as "comes easily".
