how the latest GRE computer based test is scored?

as far as i know it is

quantitative 200-800

verbal 200-800

analytical I 0-6

analytical II 0-6

so what is the maximum score?? is it 1612??

The AWA score is not added to your verbal and quant score. So you get a max of 1600 for quant + verbal and then a separate AWA score. The two AWA essays go into only one score, a max of 6.0.

your prep books ought to explain this...
