With reference to Speaking:
At the workstation

Severe storms last night together with heavy rainfall means that some of the lines of the station are now ..........

(a) waterlogged
(b) waterproof
(c) water soaked
(d) waterfall

What is the difference in usage/meaning of water logged and water soaked?

Hi,

Waterlogged means that there is so much water in something that water is still visible. Soaked in water means that the water has penetrated the object.
