Hi all,
I’m out of my wits. What the word talk stands in the given sentence for?

You won't talk me into going there.

Hi Jane 337 and nice to meet you.

In my way of thinking it’s the expression to talk smb into doing smth that is synonymous to the expression to persuade smb do smth
So
You won't talk me into going there=You won’t persuade me to go there

.
In AmE at least, we can convince people to do or not to do something.

The first five hits of 23,400,000 English pages for "convince*to" by Ms Google:

convince him to use wax
Convince Him to Plead Guilty
How can I convince him to pick up?
Convince Them To Book That Hotel Room
