What does "in the path of" mean when something is "in the path of" something else?

Also, what does "relate an account of something" mean?

Thanks.

What does "in the path of" mean? Fri Aug 11, 2006 17:32 pm  What does "in the path of" mean?

Hi Cooliegirly

If something is in the path of something else, they are on or traveling on the same "road" (literally or figuratively) and it's possible that one thing is obstructing the progress of the other. Or it could just mean that the two things will meet, come in contact or collide at some point.

What context did you find this in?

To relate an account of something means to give a report about something that happened (a bit like telling a story).
