This is about qestion no 5 in Test No.: incompl/inter-25
Heading: Wrapped round her finger .

The qestion is :
Don't you think it's about time you put your ......... down and told them what you really think?

(a) finger
(b) hand
(c) head
(d) foot

Shouldn't it be "tell them" instead of "told them" .

It's about time is a construction that is followed by a verb in the simple past form. (it's about time + subject + simple past).
