2.Pay by cheque.
3. Pay on credit.
4.Pay with credit.
5.Pay by credit.
6.Pay in credit.
7.Pay credit.
8. Pay on cash.
9.Pay with cash.
10.Pay by cash.
11.Pay in cash.
12.Pay cash.

Correct:2,5,10,11,12. How about your ideas? Is there still other correct phrases?

11.Pay in cash. OK
12.Pay cash. OK

In my opinion option 5 would only be correct is you say "credit card".
