Fashion countable: my fashion or my fashions? #1 (permalink) Mon Aug 14, 2006 16:59 pm   Fashion countable: my fashion or my fashions?

Hi,

I wonder whether 'fashion' is a countable noun or not?
e.g.
a man of fashion
people of all fashions

Moreover, my fashion or my fashions? Can I say that?

Thanks a lot!

Fashion countable? #2 (permalink) Mon Aug 14, 2006 18:00 pm   Fashion countable?

Hi

As you've already noticed, the word fashion can be used as both an uncountable and a countable noun.

To be able to say whether you're using fashion and fashions properly, I'd have to see the whole context (i.e., minimum a whole sentence for each).
