Your question is much too general to answer.

Do you have a specific sentence (or sentences) that you have questions about?

Hi Amy

I would like to quote two sentences regarding gerund and infinitive. Could you please tell me the difference between gerund and infinitive for these two sentences and why do we sometimes use gerund instead of infinitive.

I llike to play tennis.
