Dear teachers,

Please tell me the meaning of “different to/than/from” in:
a.He’s very different to his brother.
b.He’s very different from his brother.
c.He’s very different than his brother.

Are they the same meaning?

Hi Quoc

Different from is considered the "correct" form.

"Different than" is a colloquial form in American English.
"Different to" appears to be a colloquial form in British English.
