Dear teachers,

Be from is only used to say what sb痴 native country. Ex: I知 from Vnam.

This statement is right?

If now I知 in Vnam. Tomorrow, I値l be in Italy. In 3 days, I値l go to England from France. So, can I say then:

I知 from France. (That doesn稚 mean my native country is France).

Very often, yes, that would be the case.

But it could also be used to speak of your company, for example. ("I'm from XXZ Company.")

In your example, I would not say "I'm from France." For me, that is incorrect.

Instead you could say (for example) "I've just come from France."
