| Striding also is possible.Srtiding expresses a process while stride a completion, finished action. Am I right, Alan? |

Hi ladies :D
My personal preference would be stride because stride more or less means "enter" in the sentence ("stride into the room") and that's a short act rather than a process. ;)
I'd like striding better if the sentence were "...striding across the room..."

| Quite reasonable, Amy. But I know people that can stride into the room very slowly. :D :D :D |

8) But if someone's striding becomes too slow, then it might be best not to call it 'striding' anymore. ;) . _________________ "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." ~ Abraham Lincoln |
