Hi,
I've made some suggestions in CAPITAL letters:

The most important class which I can recall now was the lecture on Plant Tissue culture, delivered by a visiting faculty from THE Biotechnology department of a college.
My basics /MY BASIC KNOWLEDGE WAS were very weak before this lecture about the topic; I felt like to omit it/LIKE DROPPING IT for the exam. THE Lecturer begAn the lecture with the basics AND asked FOR A few definitions of plant and animal cellS just to test the understanding level of students. He made the class interesting and enjoyable. Then HE did A slide presentation for thirty minutes along with the explanation and made concepts more crystal clear. Students were made comfortable to share their knowledge, queries were answered, their doubts were cleared, and if someone answered wrong/GAVE A WRONG ANSWER he was very supportive and encouraging. I was impressed with the slide show, otherwise we WOULD HAVE HAD TO VISUALIZE have to visualize everything, A practical EXAMPLE is more important than A THEORETICAL ONE theory. Then we were given a break of A few minutes. THE Lecturer also gave his personal email, cell number and some of his precious notes on the subject and promised to answer any question at the earliest/AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
He was considered a very knowledgeable, famous learned person in biotechnology. He did/HAD DONE a lot of research work on the project, referred to lot of books from different related areas on biology, microbiology, biotechnology and genetics and from THE internet. His writing was legible (to understand) and HIS COULD BE HEARD (voice audible to hear for) BY the pupil sitting at the back of the big assembly hall. Along with the past trends to perform tissue culture he also showed present modern techniques of doing IT. He explained about its advantages, disadvantages AND future trends which are to be explored. Moreover he provided information beyond THE syllabus printed by the university. THE Lecturer demonstrated confidence in his speech.
After THE lecture I went through the notes AND I felt more energetic and confident to answer any question on this topic. I begin/I BEGAN liking this biotechnology as a subject. |
