--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HI Everybody
I wıll take the toeic exam. Do you have any advices??
I have taken the exam at clever learn
the adress is
CleverLearn.com. I think this is really good
My converted range score 775-865
Do you think the diffululty of this exam is likely to real toeic exam.
And I know that there is no writing part at this exam why they dont give an exact score... Why ıt ıs converted.

Thanks

How to prepare for the TOEIC Thu Aug 24, 2006 12:44 pm  How to prepare for the TOEIC

Hi Dilek,

Welcome to english-test.net!
The TOEIC preparation course by Cleverlearn is quite good as it the questions resemble the real TOEIC test. Please note, that Cleverlearn is offering a TOEIC prep course rather than the TOEIC exam itself. That's why you have to 'convert' your score. If you want real TOEIC score, you have to take the TOEIC exam at a TOEIC test center.
Hope this makes sense,
Torsten
PS: The noun advice is uncountable.

My advice about real toeic Mon Sep 04, 2006 11:56 am  My advice about real toeic

This cleverlearn is really good. I took the real exam and ı saw that they are similar..
I have taken 815 which is a aproximite score that I have taken at cleaver learn exam..You can use cleverlearn exam to see your approximite score..
Now I have advice about real toeic exam
listening
At first part ..photograps..concentrate on photos ..you have enough time to mark the gap on answer sheet..First listen ..mark the gap and look next photo ..before listening think about this photo, than listen..It will help you ..

At question and response..you wont have any problem..dont try to mark on question book..just focus on answer sheet..mark the gap

At 3.and 4.part..dont mark the gap..mark on the book..dont lose time..

Firt read questions than listen...dont try to mark the gap at the answer sheet at this part..İn this way you will know what you should focus at the conversation..İnstead of trying to mark at the answer sheet..read next question and think about it before listening...
At the end of listening part .you can mark on answer shhet for thid two part..be quick..ıt will take you 3 minutes

REading
At this part for 100 question you have 75 minutes
or (75-3=72)
You should be as quick as possible..For İncomplete sentences and error recognition..dont use more than 30 minutes..Because you need more time for reading comprehension...

and...dont lose time by reading sample questions on book ...be familiar with them before the exam..
good luck to everybody

have a nice day:)
