Experience Tropical Indonesia and Grow Your TEFL Career - Posts available in November, January, February and March 2007

EF English First Swara Group is currently recruiting TEFL teachers for Jakarta and its outskirts. The group consists of six schools in and around Jakarta that caters for students of all ages and English speaking abilities.

Our group will help you reach your full potential as a TEFL teacher; each school has a standardized induction program, regular training and observations, an extensive TEFL resource library as well as standard facilities such as computer access with, of course, constant support from the Director Of Studies and teaching team. The six schools attract students with a full range of needs in English language learning so you can gain a wealth of experience working within our group.

Indonesia is one of the most beautiful, fascinating and culturally absorbing nations in the world. As the capital city, Jakarta is a gateway to the natural and human treasures found throughout the islands. Jakarta is a busy metropolis, yet it is only a 60-90 minute boat ride to the Thousand Islands; a tranquil weekend getaway that?s a great place for diving and snorkeling with its vibrant coral reefs, or just to relax and sunbathe on the beaches.

Jakarta itself has a lot to offer as well with all kind of restaurants where you can try cuisine from not just Indonesia but all over the world. The night life offers something for everyone, there?s live music, clubs and some themed bars too. There are numerous sporting facilities ranging from fitness clubs to paint ball! As well as local art exhibitions and some local theatre, Jakarta hosts the Java Jazz festival each year.

EF English First is a world renowned language institution using its own teaching books and materials specifically developed for Asian students offering a complete teaching package for the teacher to work from. The schools in our group are located in central Jakarta, the outskirts of Jakarta and the neighboring city of Bogor. Each area is unique and has varying features that our teachers enjoy living and working in. From the quieter green suburban environment to the faster pace of convenience in the more urban areas, between the six schools there is an attraction for every professional teacher.

All of the schools are equipped with the latest in teaching aids, materials and educational multi-media technology. For more details regarding our schools, please visit: efjakarta.com (please note that our latest school in Bogor has not yet been added to the site.)

As one of the largest groups of schools in Jakarta that continues to grow; we employ over 50 native speaking teachers. We are continually looking for EFL teachers with a minimum of CELTA, CTEFL or equivalent throughout the academic year. In some cases other qualifications will be considered, depending on the nature and extent of experience.

A few of our teachers are continuing to the next contract. some are completing the contract and we will need replacement for them.
Our next available vacancies will be for September and October 2006.
The ideal candidate will be someone who works well within a team, has a positive outlook, enjoys making friends and has the ability to adapt to living and working in a developing country.

We offer a comprehensive compensation package, which includes:
-Highly competitive salary allowing a comfortable lifestyle and travel within Indonesia.
-A return air ticket.
-22 days paid leave.
-Accommodation assistance.
-Medical insurance.
-Incidental medical allowance.
-a renewable one year contract.
- the chance to work within a professional team teaching English to the highest standards in Indonesia today.

Hi Elisabeth,

I'm glad you have found our forum to post your lengthy advertisement. You certainly know that forums are a place where people share experiences and look for answers to their questions? It's not exactly a billboard where you can post free advertisements. How much time have spent our forum before you copied your broilerplate ad? Obviously not enough to recoginze this thread School student exchange programs? in which I asked for more information regarding your parent company. Do you have an online advertising policy in place at EF? If so, what does it say about posting ads to forums?

Best regards,
Torsten Daerr
