Dear teachers,

Please read:

1.Because the fact that the weather was cold, we stayed home.
2..Owing to the fact that the weather was cold, we stayed home.

All 2 sentences are correct?

All 2 sentences are correct?(Are both sentences correct?)

Hi

Number two is correct.

Try these:

1- We stayed home because of cold weather.
2- We stayed home because the weather was cold.
3- We stayed home because of the fact that the weather was cold.

Hi Quoc

Your question (All 2 sentences are correct?) is incorrect.

Both of your sentences are correct (1 and 2).

All three of Tom's sentences are correct.

Oh, excuse me, Tom! Embarassed
You're absolutely right! I completely overlooked that missing of! It's a good thing we've got your eagle eye keeping watch. Very Happy

Quoc,

Tom is absolutely right. Your first sentence must include the word "of":
1.Because of the fact that the weather was cold, we stayed home.
