Hi! How is it going?

Thanks in advance!

Do "How about it?" and "What about it?"
mean the same?

Can you give some examples and
tell me when they are used, please?

Thank you very much!

How about it?; What about it? #2 (permalink) Sun Sep 10, 2006 20:45 pm   How about it?; What about it?

Hi

As far as I am concerned; they are the same. Cambridge on-line dictionaries says:

How/What about?
used when suggesting or offering something to someone:
How about a trip to the zoo this afternoon?
"Coffee, Sarah?" "No, thanks." "What about you, Kate?"

Kind Regards
