Please read:

1.When it started to rain,he opened his umbrella. He wanted to be sure that he wouldn't get wet.
=When it started to rain,he opened his umbrella so that he wouldn't get wet.
2.When it started to rain,he opened his umbrella. He wanted to be sure that he didn't get wet.
=When it started to rain,he opened his umbrella so that he didn't get wet.

I think all are correct.Please fix the mistakes.
