It is better for children to grow up in the countryside than in a big city. Do you agree or disagree? Use specific reason and examples to develop your essay.
In a person’s life his native place plays an important role. Although some people think that it is better for children to grow up in countryside but I prefer big city due to following reasons.
First, in big city everything is easily available that is required for a child’s growth. For instance, schools, health cares, sports facilities and food facilities all are available but in countryside these thing are presents in less no or not as much good as we found in big city. Most of countryside people send their children in city’s school and in case of illness most of countryside doctors refer patients to big city hospitals.
Another, Some environmentalist had proven that in a child’s IQ (intelligence), environment in which he surrounds play a relevant role. For example, if a child grows up in rich environments like good friends, parents, good schools and good neighborhoods etc. than his overall development is better than that of a child in countryside where lack of good schools and there is most neighborhoods are unlettered.
Although I support big city life for children’s growth but some people think countryside is also better because in city there is a big problem of pollution and due to this pollution many children become ill and some get permanent disease like breath problem, hearing problem due to high noise pollution etc. And in early stage of development children require pure and holly as well as natural environment which is present only in countryside.
In sum, I want to say that both countryside and big city have their own advantages and disadvantage. So it should be decided by parents that for their children either countryside is good or big city. According to me if countryside is nearer to city then countryside life is better and we can also enjoy city’s facilities but in case if countryside is very far from city that it is difficult to make contact with city, in that case city life is better.
