Assessment of GRE® scores

Hi

I just took the GRE a month ago, and I was wondering if I should consider retaking it. My goal is to be accepted to a top CS program to study computational neuroscience / neuroengineering.

My scores were:

720 Q
710 V
5.5 AW

I hate these types of posts and I assume most people do as well. Those are obviously very good scores and you should contact the schools you will be applying to to see what GRE scores they expect...

Quite the contrary, this quant score is not very good for a CS major. I was hoping people had experience with whether the V score or Writing score balances out a not so good quant for CS. 720 is 73rd percentile. 800 is only 87.
