To munch #2 (permalink) Sat Sep 23, 2006 11:23 am   To munch

To munch is to chew noisily and vigorously (usually something crisp or dry):

She was munching a biscuit/an apple.
We saw cows happily munching on the pastures.
I can't stop munching on peanuts.

Not very wise, if I may say so, Munchy, to choose a screen name before you know its meaning-- you could be in for a lot of embarrassment!

Hi #4 (permalink) Wed Mar 31, 2010 9:18 am   Hi

Hi ,

In above example , whats wrong if using option " is eating " ?

Is it because, "eating" is used with food only and not with pills or medicines.

Is there any other way than using "is taking"

Thanks ,
Vinod.gandhi
