hi Western7... may i answer you? i'm not teacher but i have information..
She does not smoking<this is wrong sentence
because if you use (do,does) you should use -base verb (like the verb _go_).

and your note is right.
a note for all ;.
if you use these auxiliary verbs
do+does+did+must+can+could+will+would+shall+should+ought+may+might

, you must make the main verb base.. like (I don't clean the house <this sentence is in simple present tense.. in negative)..
or like(You can be agreat..<in simple future tense)
or (I would write it< in simple past future tense..)

you saw all verbs are base..

and if u use these auxiliary verbs;:
have + had+has
use the main verbs in past participle like ( i have done it)
and if u use these auxiliary verbs;
are+is +am+was +were
use the main verbs with (ing) like ( I'm doing it)

dont add (s) to the verb if u use the auxiliary verb (does ) in the negative sentence..
put(s) to the verb just when u dont use auxiliary verb in positive sentence...
