Hi berione81,
Both products have slightly different purposes. Cleverlean is offering TOEIC training online, this means, you can answer tests questions that have the same format and structure as the real TOEIC. As far as I know they are currently a special offer that allows you to sign up for their service for free.
TOEIC Secrets as an ebook that contains information on how to prepare for the TOEIC test. You will get ideas on how to develop a success strategy and how to cope with stress during the test.
Regards, Torsten
PS: Please note that "advice" is uncountalbe so you can give somebody some advice not 'an advice'. Also, it's probably good if you stick to some basic spelling rules. _________________ Test Of English for International Communication TOEIC Preparation & TOEIC Vocabulary |

Hi berione81,
First off, could you PLEASE STOP SHOUTING? Your message is much more difficult and unpleasant to read if you write in CAPITALS.
As for your TOEIC preparation, I think you should get a clear idea of the purpose of this test. The TOEIC evaluates how well you can use English in a business context.
This means, in order to get a better TOEIC score, you have to be interested in business issues rather than the TOEIC itself. Many people concentrate on the exam but that's not the important issue. What really counts is your interest in the world around you.
What do you listen to, what do you read, whom do you communicate with?
As for "TOEIC vocabulary", strictly speaking there is no such thing. However, if you are interested in this topi just google the term. _________________ Test Of English for International Communication TOEIC Preparation & TOEIC Vocabulary |

So what about your interests? Maybe can find some English language resources covering the areas that appeal to you. This way you can kill two birds with one stone: You will learn useful information while improving your English. And what's even more, you will also prepare for the TOEIC.

Hi again,
Good to hear you are listening to different resources and following a plan. If you want to speed up your TOEIC preparation you can use books such as "30 Days to the TOEIC Test" which comes audio materials. Let me know what you think, Torsten _________________ Test Of English for International Communication TOEIC Preparation & TOEIC Vocabulary |

If you want something that's more challenging you can listen to audio files on the Internet. For example, if you go to zdnet.com you will find a lot of interviews, workshops and reports you can listen to. What industry are you in? _________________ Test Of English for International Communication TOEIC Preparation & TOEIC Vocabulary |

Hi Kansu,
Welcome to our forum. It's great to have another member from Japan. Could you please tell me why you are preparing for the TOEIC exam? You might want to read the following: TOEIC Test / TOEIC for Your Career http://www.english-test.net/toeic/en/2/
How much do you spend listening to authentic audio resources such as TV, radio and audio books? How do you read every day and what do you read? What is your professional background? In order to give you advice as to how you can prepare for the TOEIC effectively, I need a little more information about you. Also, how many of these words do you know: TOEIC prep test http://www.english-test.net/toeic/vocabulary/words/002/toeic-test.php
Talk to you soon, Torsten _________________ Test Of English for International Communication TOEIC Preparation & TOEIC Vocabulary |

Hi Torsten
Thanks a lot for your response and apologize for my late reply. The reason why i am preparing for the Toeic is mainly because i am planning to apply for a japanese company in my own field in a year time, so that i want to certify my English. ( I am also preparing for JLPT level 2 test to certify japanese)
Let me tell you some about myself. I am originally from Turkey. After gaining my bachelors degree in business administration in Turkey i went and stayed in London for 3 years and got my master`s degree in International Business (Msc), specialized in Marketing, then decided to go to Japan as i have a special interest in their culture and the working system. It has been a year since i came to Japan and came up to a certain level where i can easily communicate with the japanese nations. However, i am currently teaching english at elemantary and junior high schools until i get familiar with the japanese culture/life and master in Japanese language. My long term plan is to work for a big japanese company and currently working on it.
It is really so interesting that, everytime i try the toeic vocabulary test, i can do 8 questions correctly out of 10 questions, in fact, i definitely want to do more than this. As for the listening and reading sites, i hardly ever find chance to read books or listen audio resources as i am working and studying japanese at the same time. However, for the reading, as i am all the time on the net, reading articles, and/or news etc, i usually have chance to maintain my reading skills.
My priority is to focus mainly on the Toeic test for the time being. By studying hard on it, i want to get a really high score, then i will ask for some other idea to focus more on speaking, pronunciation (british), and an `a to z` grammar book, as i began to forget some easy but important grammar points. I want to maintain improving my english and come up to a native level in all skills.
Hope this information is enough for you to give me advice for the Toeic test. If not, i will be glad to give more information.
Waiting for your response
Thanks Kansu |
