Being contactable by phone is VERY important.

I mean, would you use the adjective contactable?

I never use the word 'contactable'. I prefer 'reachable' -- not only is it shorter, it also sounds better, to my ears at least.

I agree with Conchita. Reachable would be a typical word to use. Contactable sounds odd. In fact, it sounds so odd to me that I wasn't even sure it was a legitimate word. (The Cambridge Dictionary claims it is, though. Laughing)

Well, what's really weird about this phrase is that it appears on the website of a TEFL organization. They teach people how to teach English. Apparently they are also good at coining words...
