Vietnamese economy booming Mon Nov 22, 2004 10:32 am  Vietnamese economy booming

Hello Dzung,

Welcome aboard, we are glad you have found our forum. Your English is quite impressive - because it is much harder to learn English for Asian people than it is for Europeans. I think people from Viet Nam are very eager to learn and make progress as your economy is booming (while Germany's economy is in a recession). What really counts when it comes to learning English is your motivation - ask questions and you will get the right answers.

Hi Samrat, that is two line of verse which I like most. I will try to express in English.
Well, it mean that :

There is a season being colder than the winter
When the coldness does not begin with the wind....

I just can translate like that. If you want to know more I will write later
Thanks for your question !

Dungvm,

Maybe you should try to apply for a job with an international company in addition to looking for a scholarship. Working for a company has several advantages over being a student at university. There are international corporations which offer MBA training programs for their employees. You can analyze the situation in Viet Nam - which international companies (in most cases US based corporations) have opened branches in your country? Who is working there? Chances are you will find a lot of young Vietnamese in those companies. Make a list of your strenghts and experiences. Why are you an asset to that company? Tell the company you want to advance in your career and you want to get an MBA. Think about it.

Hi Dungvm,

I don't know where you are located now in USA. There are lots of opportunities in California, San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles....with pronounced Asian populations and there many international companies where you can apply for a position where you can improve your English skills and your MA degree in the University in San Francisco State or UC Berkerly. Good Luck.
