Are you superstitious? (How do you behave on Friday 13th?)

hello,

I'm not superstitious, I'm true worshiper and my motive is love.
There is no love in superstition. Fear, doubt, uneasiness, bordom, deceitful expectation these are all superstition includes.
For me numbers haven't any power to do good or bad, I have another laws which guide me in love and peace, otherwise it's difficult to live ...

Hi Torsten.You know in Africa especially in Benin (my country) a lot of persons are superstitious.For example some people wear white clothes only on Friday and other people have sexual intercourse with their partner at specific days that is there are some days when they have sexual intercouse with their partner.this is due to their personal beliefs. .As far as I'm concerned I'm not superstitious about the number 13 but I'm a little bit superstitious.see you soon

i know one superstition.they say that,when you are bathing do not sing or else call the dead people.But i have come to analyse that what they said isn't true.I think maybe its because soap may enter into your mouth which when swallowed,can affect you.Thats my point of view.Eedy is right in Africa,they are superstitious especially in my country,Ghana

I heard from some one, I was work with.. that English nation hate number 13 because they believe its a bad number and fetch bad luck.. I look to hear from you the right story because I don't understand from him the reason ... why 13 not 14 :D

I´d say I´m partially superstitious. I don´t want to believe in superstitions and be afraid of what would happen if I didn´t do the rituals I should, e.g. after seeing a black cat, I spit three times around me.. If I didn´t do that I would be anxious about what consequences might it have...hence, I rather do all needed rituals and don´t concern about it any more...

I'm not supertitious, because I believe in God, One day at school on Friday 13th, I was walking to my classroom and suddenly I saw a black cat, but nothing bad happened to me, and I've passed down ladders and nothing bad has happened to me.

Hello! I'm back to this forum after a long long time. As always, I'd like to apologize for my bad english as I'm not so good yet and I'm here to improve it.

Well, as living in a country where supertitious is everywhere I do have a lot of supertitions. We say if we laugh a lot during the day we are going to have something to angry at night. If you point a star in the sky a sign will show on your finger. If you don't make a cross when passing in front a church God will be sad with you. If you want a visitor go away from you house you should put a sweep behind the front door. When someone dies you should put the coffin with the leg part pointing the exit door, or the soul won't leave the house. Almost everybody reads the horoscope before leaving the house. There are many other supertitions here. If somebody is curious about it I can make a detailed list of it.

I think I'm a bit superstitious. i had an unpleasant event that occured to me on Fri 13. I also hate cats especially black ones, when they cross my road I really have a bad day.Maybe they were the coincidences, but I don't believe all of them. when I was little my mom didn't let me cut my nails in the evening or at night as if people's soul lives there at nights.

Hi Teacher,
I am not a superstitious one. I only believe on myself. If we do the best, we can win. Sometime unlucky may be happen,but it is only coincidence. If we fail, we should try again and i think all things happen are depend on us. We should consider things as positive look.
