Nowadays , there are a lot of communication means in the modern world such as telephone , mail , or electronic mail, faxes . Some people argue that using letter , or modern types of communication help them adapt with this busy world . However, in my opinion , face to face communication has noticeable features for which no other means could substitute

First of all , face to face communication afford people to understand what attendants would like to say deeply , thoroughly . They can recognize what the partner want to convey by observing body languages , the attitudes, manners . For instance , last year , I heard my brother mentioned that he quit the current job and got another accompany with happy looking so I knew that he was happy to do that . On the other hand , If he had mailed me , I would haven’t understood his mood .

Secondly , we could get outcomes much more effectively . In such types of communication , we could revise the content in the talking process to adapt with the appearance of attendants . For example , when we persuade someone to do something , we can change the way to approach if we observe that he seem to disapprove what we say

Last but not least , the feelings that face to face communication bring to us cannot substitute by other means of communications , such as the feeling of joy when we receive happy news . These feelings can only be carried by the direct communication

All in all , In this modern world , the advanced technology has been bringing closer real dialogues, but these never do these alternatives bring the true feelings , the effectiveness , the clear interpersonal understanding as face to face communication do
