Dear Torsten,
Thank you for your lessons. Because of ones I can get to know what I need to improve in my English language.
I joyned in 2006 but I had a break, I have spent 2 years in England. Living there was helpful for me but the language which
English people speak it's not really correct so if I want to pass Toefl exam i need to learn with you.
Best regards
Peter

I did this lesson twice and made same 2 mistakes: this sentence and ".. he finished work at the same time..". But now I understand. Thanks a lot for your explanation.

dear Mister Micawber,
"Note that 'finish' can be followed by an –ing form [but 'end' is not followed by an –ing form]."
is this a wrong sentence:-"it is a good ending."

Hi Torsten,

Thank you veru much for the lessons, tests and exercises.

they had finished with each other.

sounds awfully odd I would have thought it isn't correct. I would have said they ended their relationship or they stopped seeing each other but how can you finish with someone? I know you can finish with something like - work: "I have finished with the house work" for instance.
