Hi Slava

I have started to notice that when I put the subject of any new topic, the last letter or quotation marks are replaced by @q automatically, and no matter how many times I edit it, it does not go away.On a personal note, I hate typos in my posts. If you open the forum English Vocabulary, Grammar and Idioms, you will find the post For the first time" VERSUS "The first time&q. My original quotation marks disappeared and these two ugly symbols took their place. And it is not the first time. Could you kindly explain why?

Tom

Hi Tom, please use apostrophes (') instead of quotation marks (") in the subject line of your posts as our forum software converts the quotation mark (") into 5 invisible symbols.

Thank you.
