Any materials that are in English are resources that help you improve your English. So if you use your English on a regular basis, your TOEIC score will go up as a result because your English gets better. The trick is not to focus on your TOEIC score but on your English.

Your absolutely correct Torsten.

This is something I have been discussing quite recently. Everyone seems to have forgotton that TOEIC, Cambridge, TOEFL and all the rest are just measurement tools. This means that noone can actually study to pass the exam. Unfortunately language is not an engineering or administration certificate.

The only thing one can do is actually prepare for the exam, which in fact just means practicing the question types and formats, so that you are not disadvantaged. (preparation is always good but never forget the learning)

Can I now mention ..... Ok this time no (smile)

There are many places you can improve your English and in doing this, you will always be enhancing your chances and your level.
