What it's the difference between true and truth, please help me understand?

True is the adjective or describing word and truth is the noun or substantive.

So if you describe something exactly as you saw it -

You tell the truth

or

You tell a true story

I don't know the difference between "true" and "truthful".
Can you explain ?

True is like a fact. i.e. That is true.
Truthful is what a person "is". i.e he is truthful.

Everyone learns differently - some excellent teachers focus on the exact grammar names and functions, when I teach I prefer to gvie examples. When I was a kid I never got grammar but sure enough I spoke pretty much correctly. Focus on correct usage by reading and listening as much as possible. Of course knowing the grammar makes everything easier.
