Essay Topic: Some people like to do only what they already do well. Other people prefer to try new things and take risk. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your choice.

This world is changing in every minute passing, so it’s hard for us to remain our unchanged selves. There are some people who are faithful to what they already do well. However, I prefer to try new things and take risks in that I can learn many valuable things.

First of all, while learning new things continually, I cannot be left behind. As a student, I always have to build up my knowledge to be qualified for my study and future career. For instance, if I am bad at mathametic, I can’t find any interest in studying it. Instead of spending time studying mathematic, I’m absored in doing chemistry exercises which I’m good at. As a result, I’m getting worse and worse at mathematic. The good way is that I have to figure out my weak points and try to overcome them. That’s why I need to learn new things to improve myself. If we don’t dare to learn new things, we can never be better.

Secondly, taking risks aren’t always bad. Some people can be sucessful thanks to their risking attitude while many others fail. We are frightened at worrying that we are unable do this work, so we give up. If we don’t give it a try, how can we besure we cannot be sucessful? Whenever we miss a chance, hardly will it come again. It’s no matter whether we will fail or not. It’s a matter of what we learn from it. I believe that it is ok not to suceed at the first attempt. We can get experience from it and do our best at the second attempt.

Finally, trying new things and taking risks, in general, help to make our society progressed. There are a lot of evidence about this. Many inventions were achieved after repeated attempts. Moreover, our lives get comfortable in owing to the development of science. We can exist because we know how to adapt to any change. In case we don’t improve ourselves for the better, it’s hard for us to be alive.

In brief, ignoring new things and risks can lead us to the bad situations. We are challenged and then find the geniune happiness by getting over them. It’s more better to try new things and take risks with considerate attidute rather than adventurous one.

Thanks a lot.

Hi,

Secondly, taking risks aren’t/ISN'T always bad. Some people can be sucessful thanks to their risking/DARING attitude while many others fail. We are frightened at worrying that we are unable do this work/JOB, so we give up. If we don’t give it a try, how can we be sure we cannot be sucessful? Whenever we miss a chance, hardly will it come again. It’s no matter whether we (will) fail or not. It’s a matter of what we learn from it. I believe that it is ok/ALL RIGHT not to suCceed at the first attempt. We can get experience from it and do our best at the second attempt.

Finally, trying new things and taking risks, in general, help to make our society progressed/PROGRESS. There are/IS a lot of evidence about this. Many inventions were achieved after repeated attempts. Moreover, our lives get/HAVE BECOME comfortable (in) owing to the development of science. We can exist because we know how to adapt to any change. In case we don’t improve ourselves for the better, it’s hard for us to be alive.

In brief, ignoring new things and risks can lead us to (the) bad situations. We are challenged and then find the geniune happiness by getting over them. It’s more/MUCH better to try new things and take risks with considerate attidute/IN A CONSIDERED WAY rather than IN AN adventurous one.

This is a good piece of writing
