Dear Peacerise,
I would write this sentence as- They have a very large house around which, are some lovely gardens. ( You cannot omit ( which ) in this sentence, because it represent the house. ) |

Dear Bees, Please help explain the usages of Prepositions + which structures.
Q. They have a very large house round ( which ) there are some lovely gardens.
A. They have a very large house around/ round which, are some lovely gardens. 1. Did I put the comma right? 2. Can I omit there in this case?
Waiting for you kind response. Love you. |

Your correction of the original sentence is largely accurate but you didn't quite get the comma right. A good tip is to say the sentence aloud and listen for the natural place to pause for a short breath, That's where the comma goes. You can leave out 'there'.
They have a very large house, around/ round which are some lovely gardens. _________________ Cheers m' dears! |

Definitely Bees, ' Around which' modifies the 'house, and take out 'there. This is a beauty of grammar craft . Lovely.
Thank you...... . Love you. |
