Hi,

Preferred wouldn't work in that sentence because it means like better as in: Do you like coffee with or without milk? Personally I prefer it with milk.

Hello,

Transfer has several meanings. Here:Sb transfers a feeling from one person to another.
For exp: I had already transferred my bad mood to my friends.

please explain closer: transfer a worry (feeling)= 'infect' sb with worry/ caused sb to get worried as he is?
