Hello everyone!
I'm Colette Niyitegeka, from Rwanda. It's my pleasure to get this opportunity to communicate with you all. Many thanks to my teacher Torsten, and everyone who contributed to make (/put) this learning (/in action). My native language isn't English and I'm doing my studies in English. This is the important reason I say thank you to everyone who takes part of this learning. Since I started following these lessons, my English has been improved at a considerable rate! And for sure I will speak it like native people as I wish. Thank you all. |

Hi all my friends! I'm from Vietnam and my name is Le Thi Kim Chi. Is it strange? My name sound like one of Korean food - kim chi- it is a very famous food on the world and also the specific food of Korea. But my name has an another meaning, in my country, 'Kim' means a piece of gold and 'chi' is a brand of a tree. Otherwise, when the people in my country call a girl ' Kim Chi' they want to tell you that girl is a special. She is born in a very rich family and her parents has a very good reputation. For example, Suri Cruise, she is daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Homle, they are actor and actress and very famous on over the world. Every time she goes our with her mom, there are many paparazzies keep a close watch on them. One more, Paris Hilton, I know for sure that everyone has heard about her and her family, she was born in a very rich family, she's crazy, waste of money in her entertainment and the boys. She has attended many holywood films and music video but the reasult not to good, her ability is limited but anyway she is still famous. Those are very clearly example for the meaning of my name - Kim Chi. But, keep calm, I'm not famous and rich, It's just the dream of my father when he gave that name for me, he wished I can grow healthy and has a good future. That's all. My mother tongue is Vietnamese. It's one of the most difficut languages in the world beside Japanese ans Chinese. It's so hard to learn because its pronunciation and diacritics, but it's look familiar with English. And I love it so much beside English. I am now 23 and just graduated in July, 2009. My major is accounting and auditing, I spent 4 years for studying at Ho Chi Minh City National University and during this time I also took part in an English course at Centre for foreign affair and languages trainning. And then, I recieved Toeic certification by 850 scores. But I am not satisfied and that's why now I continues to study English. I love this language, I love to speak, love to write and love to read it, it's very useful for me. I love English songs and films and even stories and I can speak it quite well. I am very glad to make friend with everyone here because I think all of us have the same dreamc - being good in English- thanks very much.
