Hello friends
I am Nakamura from Japan. At present I am doing my postgraduate study. So English is immense important for me in scientific communications. I am learning to write scientific articles. So I am reading at least few papers a day. I need to communicate at oral presentations. So I want to improve my listening and speaking skills. In Japan, everything is expensive. I have to work part time basis while studding. But, working places are also everywhere and they pay us quite well. I am enjoying working too. I have small mp3 player and I am listening to English talks while I am going to work place. I go to work three four days per week in the evening hours. Everyday I have to walk on street about 40 minute. I don’t take a bus so I can save 200 yen and same time I can listen to English. Two advantages at a time isn’t it?. Oh….no..no…. three advantage.. You know walking is better to health too.
Not only that, it refreshes my mind after about 8 hours of work in front of my computer since everyday morning.
Do you want to know what sort of mp3 I am listening….. ?
I read all the email that I receive from the online course but difficult to manage time to do all on time.
But I will not give up.
Thank you Torstein it is great and we feel you are sending us something more than English. I don’t know the “right word” to say what exactly it is, but I would say it is your kindness.
Best regards to all

Hello Nakamura,
I am very glad to read your message. It is so encouraging and besides that I am so lucky to communicate with you eventhough you are far from my country. I am unable to recognize whether you are He or She from your name. Sorry for that. I assume that you are a male. For everywhere and everything people say we don't have time but it is so nice to learn from you that how you are managing your time and utilising Mr. Torsten's English classes. Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts in this forum. With best wishes.

Hello everybody, In reply to the question :"Where are you from?" I'm happy to introduce myself: I am a teacher of English from Tunisia and I enjoy the online course sent regularly (to kawa). I thank all the contributors for the assistance they provide us and would like to invite my colleagues from around the world to start a correspondence between our pupils in English. My pupils are aged 13 and are eager to discover new horizons and improve their writing skills. Looking forward to your reply, yours sincerely, dorra. |
