There's no need to apologise, kati. I'm glad you've found it useful.

Hello Bez,

Many thanks again. It was surely useful for me though I won't be already cleverer. I believed that the use of passive voice was clear for me, but not. Perhaps now it was a good lesson!

Regards:
Kati

Hello,

I want to write about the passive voice: past perfect tense.
Why? I received this letter from BZ. to my question. I would have been curious of
had been heard.
Beeezeee:
'I have been hearing about you' is the only correct expression there, Kati.

To use 'heard' you have to change the tense:
For example:
'I have heard things about you.'

Now of course I know that what I wanted to write is a passive tense and in this sentence I couldn't set in.
-What have you been hearing about me?
-Strange stories. (object direct)

THE PASSIVE VOICE IS MADE WITH TRANSITIVE VERBS
the object direct becomes the subject of passive voice.
construction: subject+adequate tense of the verb to be+ past participle.
So here:
Strange stories had been heard about you.
