Well,
You wouldn't be caught dead doing it means you never would do it and therefore I think the speaker is implying that the other girl doesn't spend any time in a library.

| good samaritan is basically an overall nice person, always help out even if the person(s) they are helping are total strangers. there isnt much to a story just nice people. |

As far as I know, this expression refers to a story in the Bible: There was a man who was robbed and hurt. He lay on the road, a lot of people passed by, but nobody cared - except for the 'good Samaritan' who stopped, helped him and took care of his injuries. |
