Hello Specific,

Every thing would be better if you know more about a 24 hours? You have already known about a 12 hours, so I start to tell you by using it. And your question is that "do we have to use just in the evening or morning?"

You can see:
01:00am
02:00am
03:00am
…
…
…
11:00am
12:00pm
01:00pm or 13:00 (No “pm”)
02:00pm or 14:00 (No “pm”)
03:00pm or 15:00 (No “pm”)
…
…
…
11:00pm or 23:00 (No “pm”)
12:00am or 24:00 (No “pm”)

This is one day.

First, make sure that you understand it and then compare to your question.

It's ok if you don't want to say evening when the time is 13:15 because at that time you can see the sun and in eveywhere sun shines:)

Good luck,

Sokheng

well,My idea is to avoid a second question after saying "It's 5.30 now" ..I mean the second question would be "Is it morning or evening there now?"

So, If we just say "It's 17.30 now" It's understood, and also It's shorter and easier to know that "It is 5.30 in the evening"

I think this is the better and easier way,and we can avoid saying the a.m., p.m.too

What do you think my Friends?

"Eurekaaaaaaaaaa" :lol:

Hello Amalmusica,

It’s good that we can learn to gather and change some ideas, also your idea is right and it a good idea to say so. You are work well on English, right now. Make sure that when you speak to your friends, they understand to what you are talking like you are telling about time when they ask you. For this we just learn to know more about time.

Good luck,
