I have some answer's please check them. a) 9:40 a.m. a) It is fourty past in the morning. b) 6:12 p.m. b) It is tewelve past six in the night. c) 2:30 p.m c) It is half past two in the noon d) 5:00 a.m d) It is five O'clock in the evening. e) 10.15 a.m e) It is quater past ten in the morning. f) 7:47 p.m f) It is fourty seven passed seven in the night.

a) 9:40 a.m.
It is fourty past nine (in the morning=) It is nine fourty (in the morning=)
b) 6:12 p.m.
It is six past twelve (in the evening=) It is six twelve (in the evening=)
c) 2:30 p.m.
It is half past two (in the evening=) It is two thirty (in the evening=)
d) 5:00 a.m.
It is five o'clock (in the morning=) It is five. (in the morning=)
e) 10.15 a.m.
It is a quarter past ten. (in the morning=) It is ten fifteen. (in the morning=)
f) 7:47 p.m.
It is fourty seven past seven. (in the evening=) It is seven fourty seven. (in the evening=)

4)5:00 a.m. It is five in the morning. It is five o'clock in the morning.
5)10:15 a.m. It is a quarter past ten in the morning. It is ten fifteen in the morning.
6) 7:47 p.m. It is a quarter to eight in the evening. It is seven forty seven in the evening.

Everything looks good except number 3. Here are my suggestions:
3)2:30 p.m. It is thirty past two in the noon. (This is not natural.) It is half past two in the afternoon. It is two thirty in the afternoon. . |

TIME....until now i really do not understand how to tell the time. the only way that i know how to say is... 9.30 i say nine thirty 9.15 i say nine fiveteen 2.50 i say two fifty 1.45 i say one fortyfive
what a shame i am......aren't i? |
