I need your help once again (my Korean student is really quite a challenge for me). I know that there's practically no difference between in winter and during winter. But somehow, it sounds a little off when you say:

"In winter, Koreans like to ski."

instead of

"During winter, Koreans like to ski."

Or am I just imagining that it sounds off? Shocked
