Hi Konstantin,

ooo thanks a lot, you also guessed me as adult  hmmm I don't know this's good or bad,but I know I'm 19 and I have a young soul :? May I ask why did you think so? I have never asked this before :?: Sometimes I ashamed to say people that I like classical music very much, especially Beethoven, they will think I'm crazy or if in forum they didn't see me, they'll guess I'm an old lady about 80-90 (как старуха)

Oh my future profession, I'll be a translator.

here we have one of life's great lessons:

Never, ever overestimate someone's age. Even if you have to lie, tell them you think they're younger than you actually think they are.

E.G. (for instance; for example):

If you see an 80-year-old woman, tell her she looks like she's 29. Wait, no, to her that might seem retarded, but it might get a laugh out of her anyway... might make her day. On the other hand, you run the risk of bringing up fond memories of youth, which might piss her off.

But generally, 29 seems to be the magic number for females -- if you tell a 40ish female that she looks like she's 29, you will very likely get a favorable response.

(now I'm going to try to duck the tomatoes being tossed at me)

:)

So, do you think I look 29, Tom? 8)

I regularly got carded until I was in my early thirties. There was some mild disappointment when I finally realized that nobody was asking me for ID anymore before they'd let me buy a bottle of wine.

Hi medeya

It's great that you like classical music. It's not mainly 80 and 90-year-olds who like the classics, but I guess it is true that many people don't learn to appreciate classical music until they're a little older. So, you have a head start. :D

By the way, a couple corrections for you:

Hello.
medeya2012: I don't now it's a question of a subjective perception of your manner to write and the surrounding atmosphere. So I enjoy that you are young.
Bethoven isn't bad, I have played some of his works. But as for me I like a jazz music (to play) and metal (to hear). :P
Can you explain me, how do I have to prepare for exams on this forum.

The response of a new admin hihihi :) #114 (permalink) Sun Dec 24, 2006 7:18 am   The response of a new admin hihihi :)

Hello Kostantin :) thanks  sorry for such a late response..

Yes Beethoven isn't bad :) Mozart is also very good. Well, to tell the truth, I like all kinds of good music, I mean I also like jazz, rock, rap, metal also:) , but most all as the real serious music I like classical music.hmm I like to play jazz on my electronic piano, but sometimes I compose something like jazz while playing :) it's so funny, you can play anything, like a crazy and it'll sound like jazz xi xi xi(especially if I'm in good spirit)

What exams do you mean? Toefl? hmmm you can ask questions on sections ( grammar, teacher explanations and so on) If you have any problem in solving a quiz, you can just ask our moderators, you can ask Alan, he's a very good teacher :) Also, if you have problems in understanding idioms, Yankee is good in explanations of idioms.
And if you want some information about Toefl, you should get information on other sections about toefl, Torsten can explain it,he has articles also, they can be a good source of information about Toefl :)

Oh I feel just as I'm admin of english-test.net hihihihi 8) if you'll have a question ask me, as admin I'll explain, hmmm I guess I like this job  The easiest work in the world, is to give advice to someone :)( a Greek philosopher)
